ID Energy Group closes the sale of 11 photovoltaic farms with Feníe Energía
ID Energy Group continues to grow in 2022 with this agreement, which represents a 12.8 MW increase in the company’s installed capacity
Ciudad Real, 21 January 2022 – ID Energy Group continues to grow in 2022 thanks to the agreement signed by Benito Puebla, CEO of this company specialised in photovoltaic energy, and Paula Román, CEO of the power marketer Feníe Energía.
ID Energy Group will build and operate 11 solar farms that are currently at the end of the development stage, located in the provinces of Ciudad Real and Albacete (Spain). The power marketer, one of the most important in Spain, will be in charge of exploiting these facilities.
The construction of these projects entails a 12.8 MW increase in ID Energy Group’s installed capacity, a clear display of the growth currently being experienced by the company.
“We are very proud to have closed the sale of these farms with a company like Feníe Energía, which we have seen grow over the years. With this deal, we know that we are playing an active role in ensuring that the renewable energy generated is marketed by the large number of installation companies that make up this big family.”
The solar farms to be built under this agreement are in the final stages of the development process, although some are already at the ready-to-build stage. The farms are set to be gradually started up over the course of 2022.
Not only will ID Energy Group build the facilities, but it will also be responsible for operation and maintenance in the coming years.
Since it was founded in 2008, ID Energy Group — a corporate group specialising in photovoltaic energy— has grown both in Spain and further afield, and is now one of the most important players in the renewable energy sector. It now has more than 120 employees and a strong international presence, with offices in Spain, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, and Serbia. What’s more, the company is currently breaking into the Italian market.
